This backpack has been in my cart FOREVER. I bit my lip and ate the price. BUT I’m GLAD I finally did. Previously I had a faux leather Steve Madden sack back for work. Month went by and the sack strap snapped. It hurt my back…dug into my shoulders…not a lot of pockets…had to carry my lunch into work. I JUST got home from work and tried this big baby out. I bought the 25l bag and it fits everything I had in my old bag and then some. Even after wearing my bag at work most of the day…I put this bag on and there’s NO PAIN. The cushiony straps and bag are HEAVENLY. If it’s in your cart and has been for a while…buy it immediately! Best investment I’ve bought yet.

My biggest concern with this backpack brand is that they are not easily returnable. There’s a whole page that comes with it explaining that you can’t return it unless it’s new in the package and that if it’s not deemed new when you return it you won’t get your money back. For a backpack in this price point that’s pretty concerning. I knew as soon as I took it out I couldn’t return it. So even trying it on was like committing to owning it.

I also noticed immediately how heavy it is. I’m a cyclist and while heavy duty is important so is weight. The website says it’s around 2.5 lbs but lifting it up it feels considerably heavier. I would guess somewhere between 4-6 lbs . A gallon of milk weights about eight this is similar in weight to a 1/2 gallon .

I actually bought this for my 7 yr old daughter. She is a fashion type and I was tired of buying back pack after backpack. I’m hoping the investment I put into this is worth it in the end.

I probably should’ve bought the 20 l commuter backpack for her but it doesn’t come in the print she wanted and it doesn’t have many of the cute Wolfpack features like the 9 , 25 and 35 do. It’s too late now, it’s been to school with her. In addition she’s attached herself to the idea of owning it and refuses to acknowledge the weight . She only weights 42 lbs which means this back pack is around 10-20% of her body weight when loaded with a lunchbox and what not. Luckily she’s not cycling yet as she’d never get anywhere loaded down like this. And she’s quite sassy so just stomps off sort of out of balance when you mention that her “precious backpack” is a bit big and heavy for her.

I’m a bit confused about the pocket situation as well. I know some people use the bigger version for an EMT bag which makes sense but it just seems like we could’ve consolidated some of these pockets for gym ppl . That part actually works well for an elementary schooler who has things like a cell phone, chapstick, etc that always goes in the front pocket, notebooks , folders and a lunch box. This is the first backpack I’ve found that could fit her lunch box , folder , and jacket at the same time.
