U.S. DESIGN + QUALITY CONTROL

SOG STEEL. Your SOG SEAL Pup fixed blade is crafted in AUS-8 powder-coated stainless steel and hardened using our cryogenic heat treatment; the steel is lowered to -300°F then brought to room temp to relieve blade stress at the atomic level, thereby increasing edge retention and hardness.

SOG SHAPE + SERRATION. The SEAL Pup features a partially serrated blade for quick, clean edge cuts and a clip-point design for better piercing-style cuts that would make Jim Bowie proud. It also boasts a glass-reinforced nylon (GRN) handle, aggressively checkered for an unsurpassed grip.

I already knew what I was buying. What else can I say? Great quality knife.. Tried and developed for the military, designed for Navy Seals to what degree I do not know. Anyway, great quality, love the design, the look, everything. AUS-8 Stainless Steel, designed in the USA to high standards, it's made in Taiwan but do not let that deter you, Taiwan has higher manufacturing standards than China and other places.. feels like USA quality to me. Also the Kydex sheath is amazing I have seen torture test videos on youtube of this knife and they hold up very well. Beautiful knife and feels great in the hand. Very very impressed

I purchased this knife for use fishing and outdoors activities cuts decent overall a good knife and I’m pleased with it for the price point. I think it’s going to last for years and I would purchase again if needed. The handle is very well designed fits hand great and is no slip type of grip just really solid feel in my hand. Beware if you have very large hands the handel is not oversized it’s a bit slim I have averaged sized hands and I would not want it any smaller,

This is the second Seal Pup I've owned. The first one was used for years on multiple combat deployments all over the world and through countless training cycles. The knife has been used in mainly salt water environments and as long as you wash it after exposure it will last indefinitely. The sheath started falling apart after a year or two of extremely hard use but it still lasted a lot longer than expected. This one is just a replacement for my original that was recently lost in the field. Overall a great product that can easily take anything you can throw at it.
